Globally recognised health club franchise Anytime Fitness are to further their support for Mike Epps in the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Having supported Mike since they met in 2012, the long time partners are to venture into what would be his most exciting season yet. With Team Hard Racing’s proven VW CCs now upgraded to RML specification and mated with Swindon’s improved 2017 engine, the team have what could potentially be a very competitive package.
Anytime Fitness are the worlds largest health chain, they were named the #1 Top Global Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine, surpassing well-known franchises like Subway, McDonald's, and Pizza Hut recently. Over 2.5 million people use Anytime Fitness clubs across the globe in over 3500 locations. Growing quickly, they opened their 100th club in the UK last year. Mike is proud to have worked with the franchise and to have them back onboard for 2017.
“I loved the club when I first joined in 2012. They were offering far more than anyone else at the time – 24-hour access to all gyms in one standard price membership. It was no surprise at all to see how much the franchise had grown in other countries and I thought I’d best get in touch quickly while I was racing in Formula Renault. I’m really excited for this season with them in BTCC.”
Anytime Fitness UK Chairman Andy Thompson commented on the upcoming season: “ We are really excited to be continuing our support and sponsorship to Mike and his team. It looks like it will be a successful racing season and we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with him. Good luck Mike!“
Mike's new VW CC will first be unveiled at the BTCC Launch Day at Donington Park, 16th March.
